Abhyangam – General Body Message
Abhyangam is an ayurveda term for a common phrase “body massage”. Abhyangam is advised as a daily routine. It improves overall health and maintains a healthy skin. At the same time abhyangam increases the vitality, virility and also increases the production of antibodies to support the resistivity against micro organism. Abhyangam also improves nervous system; therefore it is considered as a protecting and rejuvenating therapeutic method.
Full body massage
This relaxing and refreshing full body massage is a masterpiece of Kerala Ayurveda. It is done with medicated herbal oils by therapists in a synchronized manner for 60 minutes. The number of strokes and pressure vary with the condition of the individual. This massage is indicated daily to prevent ageing and degeneration. This therapy will treat the whole body physically, mentally and emotionally while balancing the doshas. Its rhythmic motion helps to relieve joints and muscles from stiffness and helps in freeing body movements. This stimulating treatment increases blood circulation, which in turn encourages quick removal of metabolic wastes, while providing relief to diseases such as anxiety, fatigue, circulatory disorders, arthritic problems, backaches and injuries. The effects of both are compounded since the heat and steam allow the medicated oils to seep into the body and nourish from the inside.

Method
The mininum duration of Abhyangam is from 7 days to 21 days. Abhyangam is done using medicated oil all over the body. Among the three humours, vata is the one which is helpful for movement. The quality of normal vata is to create a movement. Once its being distrubed it create a number of health problems such as movements with pain and dryness. Therefore medicated oil’s reduce the imbalance created in vata humour.
1 Full body 60 min – without giving heat compression
90 min – with heat compression
Half body massage
This include massaging low back, hip, thighs knees, legs and foot. Absolutely relaxing for people who walks and sits a lot. The hard massage reduces the stiffness of muscles.

Foot massage – Marma reflexology
